FROM THE NORTHTake the A696 approaching Tyneside. At the intersection with the A1, go across it onto the A167. This road becomes a motorway (A167M) as you approach Newcastle City Centre. From this point, follow the common directions below.FROM THE WESTTake the A69 approaching Tyneside. At the intersection with A1, turn left (north) for two junctions, then turn right onto the A167. From this point, follow the common directions below.FROM THE SOUTHTake the A1(M) approaching Tyneside. Immediately after the sevices at Washington, exit onto the A167 (before you pass the Angel of the North on the A1) signposted Gateshead South. You will now pass the Angel on your left hand side and travel for approximately 3 mile, passing through Low Fell and Gateshead, and eventually you will cross the river on the famous Tyne Bridge. When you have crossed the bridge, the road becomes the A167(M) signposted the North. After just half a mile exit onto the A1058 Tynemouth road. From this point, follow the common directions below.THE FOLLOWING ARE COMMON FOR TRAVELLERS FROM ALL DIRECTIONSLeave this road onto the A1058 Tynemouth road when you will merge with traffic arriving from the opposite direction. Once you have merged, you will quickly encounter traffic lights at a very busy junction. Turn left and you are now on Osborne Road. The Jesmond Hotel is 800 metres ahead, on your right, on the corner of Osborne Road and Fern Avenue.
